SUMMIT COUNTY, OH : 1 dead in fiery crash after tanker truck goes over bridge in northeast Ohio on Saturday, 27th January 2024

One person was killed in a fiery crash in northeast Ohio Saturday morning, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and officers with the Macedonia Police Department were called to the Interstate 271 north ramp in Northfield Center Township for a report of a traffic crash. When they arrived, deputies determined that a tanker truck carrying diesel had been traveling northbound on state Route 8 and attempted to get on I-271 when the truck lost control.
