Ventura,CA : 1 injured in traffic collision in Moorpark on may, Sunday 14th 2017

One person was injured in a three-vehicle traffic collision Sunday night in Moorpark where one of the vehicles went up in flames, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 8:59 p.m. near the intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Lemonwood Drive.

Firefighters with the Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the vehicle fire. The California Highway Patrol reported the vehicle was a pickup.

The injured person was taken to an area hospital.
