AUBURN, ME : Auburn police investigating deadly motorcycle crash on Friday, September 22nd 2017

A motorcyclist who was seriously injured when his bike was hit by a car on Court Street Friday evening has died from his injuries.

Police said Reginald Clement, 54, of Anson, died Friday night at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Clement was heading east on his motorcycle when he was hit by a car driven by Steve Primavera, 33, of New Gloucester, police said. Primavera was not hurt.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. Friday near 451 Court St. Court Street was closed for six hours while police investigated.

Police said Saturday the investigation is continuing.

Police said the car crossed the center line and hit Clement's motorcycle. Police said Clement was riding with another motorcyclist who was not hurt.
