Poinsett County, AR : Trumann man killed in two-vehicle crash on Highway 163 in Poinsett County on Thursday evening, June 25, 2015

A man from Trumann was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Poinsett County.

Michael Clanton, 38, died in the crash Thursday evening, according to Arkansas State Police.

Police state in the crash report that Clanton was driving an Oldsmobile south on Highway 163 around 8:30 p.m. when the collision happened.

Clanton's vehicle, according to ASP, crossed over into the northbound lane in a curve. A second vehicle heading north swerved to miss Clanton's vehicle, but both vehicles hit head on.

It is not known if the driver of the second vehicle was injured. The crash report from ASP did not list that information.
