TULSA, OK : Woman dead after police chase leads to violent crash on Tuesday, December 20th 2016

A woman is dead and another is in critical condition after a police chase led to a crash late Tuesday night.
Sperry police tried to pull over a driver because her headlight was out, but the woman sped off, according to Sperry police. An officer ended the pursuit near 56th Street North after speeds reached more than 100 mph, but a witness flagged the officer down at 35th Street North and Peoria Avenue because a car had gone off the road.
The officer confirmed it was the same car involved in the pursuit, according to police. The crash left the car in two separate pieces. The driver was decapitated and the passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The vehicle turned out to be stolen. Police aren't sure if drugs or alcohol were involved.
