Victorville,CA : Pedestrian killed in crash on Mojave Drive on October, Monday 30th 2017

Officials identified the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle near the intersection of Mojave Drive and Ferndale Road on Oct. 24.

Salvador Ramirez Perez, 62, of Victorville, was identified as San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Division officials as the pedestrian struck and killed at the intersection just after 7 p.m. that evening.

Officials said Perez was walking across Mojave Drive outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a black Nissan 200 headed east on Mojave Drive.

Perez was taken to Victor Valley Global Medical Center for treatment, where he was was declared dead at 7:38 p.m., Coroner’s Division officials said.
