Noble ,OK : 17- Years old Morgan Smith killed and two other injured after two vehicles collided on Sunday evening ,April 19 2015

A Lexington teenager died Sunday evening in a car crash, a Cleveland County Sheriff's Office official said.
About 5:40 p.m. Sunday, two vehicles collided when the 16-year-old driver of a 2001 Honda CRV failed to stop at the intersection of Maguire Road and 72nd Avenue Southeast, officials said in a release. The driver hit a 1997 Plymouth van, owned by the Maguire Baptist Church in Noble, that was traveling east on Maguire Road.

Both vehicles left the roadway, and the SUV rolled over twice, ejecting the driver and a passenger, identified as Morgan Smith, 17, officials said. Smith was taken to Norman Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the CRV was treated for minor injuries and was released.

The van hit a utility pole and flipped onto its top, officials said. One passenger had to be taken out of the overturned vehicle.

Janice Fogle, 71, a passenger in the van, was taken to an area hospital and admitted into the intensive care unit, officials said. Three other passengers -- Nathan Edwards, 8, Shirley Blair, 65, and Kathleen Morris, 88 -- were treated and released.

Christine Edwards, 65, was driving the church van.

The name of the teenage driver has not been released. The wreck is still under investigation.
