Miami, FL : Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Miami on Saturday, November 29, 2014

Miami police are investigating after a man was struck and killed while crossing a street early Saturday. The victim is described as an elderly man, who was trying to cross Northwest 7th Street with the assistance of a walker around 6 a.m. Witnesses told police a gray or silver vehicle, possibly a Mazda, hit the man, then fled. The victim is believed to have been homeless. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital. The driver of the vehicle is believed to be a white man in his 50s.
