Town of Friendship, WI : Fond du Lac man dead after being pinned beneath pickup truck in the Town of Friendship on Monday morning, March 23, 2015

A 26-year-old Fond du Lac man was pronounced dead Monday after being pinned beneath a pickup truck in the Town of Friendship, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office.

Shortly after 11 a.m., deputies were called to a home at W7039 Voyager Drive, where the man was found under the truck in a driveway, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Investigators think the man was doing maintenance when "a mechanical failure occurred," according to the release.

The sheriff's office did not identify the man, pending notification of his family, and said the incident remained under investigation.
