SMYRNA, GA : At least 1 killed in crash on Windy Hill Road in Smyrna on Monday, 19th June 2023

At least one person was killed in a crash at a busy intersection in Smyrna Monday afternoon, police said.

According to the Smyrna Police Department, all lanes were closed on Windy Hill Road after a crash at the intersection with Village Parkway. Police were asking drivers heading west on Windy Hill Road to use U.S. Highway 41 as an alternate route.

The road has been reopened.
