Crash on kills one man in parked vehicle

An Illinois man is dead after another driver reportedly ran into his parked car early Sunday morning. According to Arkansas State Police initial reports, around 1 a.m., 56-year-old George Hines' car was sitting on the shoulder of Interstate 40 near the 252 mile marker, when 41-year-old Earl Strong's vehicle veered off the road and hit the parked car.A St. Francis County coroner pronounced Hines dead on the scene.Strong was injured in the crash and taken to a Forrest City hospital for treatment. Road conditions were described as clear and dry at the time of the accident.
