A high-speed chase ended with three people being hospitalized Saturday afternoon.

Police said an officer tried to pull over the driver of a white Saturn southbound on I-75 for a traffic offense at about 6:40 p.m., and then the driver fled at more than 100 miles per hour.

The driver, 33-year-old Jeremy Baker of Cincinnati, exited the highway at the Sharon Road exit and struck another car, according to police.

Police said they suspected "drug impairment" was a factor.

Baker and two victims were taken to Bethesda North Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
