Russellville,AR : Police arrest man after fatal car accident on April, Monday 2nd 2018

Alex T. Harper, 20, appeared in felony bond hearings on Monday accused of negligent homicide in the death of Zachary Turner.

According to the police report, Russellville police were dispatched to 500 Industrial Boulevard regarding a motor vehicle accident. When they arrived, an officer made contact with two females and one male at the scene and observed a man later identified as Turner lying on the ground.

Harper allegedly admitted to investigators he was driving the vehicle across a field when he lost control and it flipped. Harper was transported to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center due to his injuries where a blood sample allegedly showed his blood alcohol content was at .08. Turner died a short time later due to injuries sustained in the accident. Harper is also facing charges for under-age drinking.

Harper’s bond was set at $10,000 by District Judge Don Bourne.
