Griffin ,GA : Man charged in wreck that killed mother of three on August, Friday 4th 2017
Charges have been filed against a man accused of causing a traffic collision on Lovvorn Road Friday that killed a Bowdon woman.
Briana McFalls, 26, a mother of three who was the manager of a Bowdon convenience store, died in the crash. Her husband, Walter McFalls, who was driving their 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, and their 2-year-old son Kohen McFalls, who was in the backseat, survived.
Terry Frazier, 43, was driving his 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck east on Lovvorn Road. The McFalls’ vehicle was traveling west.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, Frazier was driving on the wrong side of the road while improperly passing another vehicle. While Frazier was passing that vehicle, Walter McFalls steered right to avoid the head-on collision but lost control and struck a tree, fatally injuring his wife Briana.
Frazier fled the scene, according to the state patrol, but was found and taken into custody by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
Frazier has been charged with hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report accident with injury/death/damage, reckless driving, failure to exercise due care, driving under the influence, passing in a no-passing zone, driving on wrong side of roadway, driving too fast for conditions, first degree homicide by vehicle and serious injury by vehicle and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
