Coalinga, CA : Wasco man killed in Coalinga car crash on Saturday, August 16, 2014

A Wasco man was killed early Saturday when his car veered onto the shoulder of southbound Highway 33 just north of Highway 41 in Coalinga and flipped several times, the CHP said. California Highway Patrol public information officer Steve Schuh said the man, whose name and age were not given, wasn't wearing a seat belt. He was pronounced dead at the scene around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Schuh said that drugs or alcohol don't appear to be a factor, and the crash is under investigation.
