HAMMOND, IN : Portage man killed in car crash on Saturday, August 5, 2017

A Portage man was killed Saturday night in a car wreck on Interstate 80/94, according to the Lake County Coroner's office.

At about 10:18 p.m. a death investigation team was dispatched to the eastbound lane of I-80/94 near the 3-mile marker in Hammond, according to the coroner's office.

The Lake County Coroner's office said Devin Risher, 28, died of blunt force trauma.
