A 29-year-old Muskegon man suffered minor injuries when his car rear-ended another car Thursday afternoon on southbound U.S. 31, just north of Jackson Street in Grand Haven. An ambulance transported the Muskegon man to a local hospital. Police did not release his name.

The Muskegon man was traveling south and did not see that other vehicles had stopped in front of his car. That’s when he drove into the back end of one car, which pushed it into another vehicle, said Sgt. Eric Rasch of the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety.
The Muskegon man was ticketed for failure to stop.
