NORTH SEWICKLEY TWP, PA : Franklin Twp. man killed in North Sewickley Twp. crash on Thursday 15th March 2018

A Franklin Township man was killed Thursday night in a single-vehicle crash on Chapel Drive in North Sewickley Township, police said.

According to investigators, Mark Nardulli, 60, was found dead after his vehicle crashed into a pole several feet off the road.

Police said officers were called at about 7:10 p.m. to the 500 block of Chapel Drive. Investigators believe Nardulli was driving southeast on Chapel Road when he veered off of the road.

Police said they are unsure what caused the crash and have not ruled out the possibility that Nardulli suffered a medical emergency just prior to the crash.

Residents in the area were without electricity for several hours, police said. Officers remained at the scene for more than three hours.

Police said an autopsy was scheduled for Friday evening.
