HENRICO, VA : 15-year-old dies after being hit by car on Staples Mill Road on Sunday, 8th September 2024

An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was hit and killed on Staples Mill Road on Sunday night.

Police say it happened around 8 p.m. near Hungary Spring Road, which is by the Staples Mill Plaza Shopping Center.

Henrico Police and Fire responded to the crash, where the boy was pronounced dead on the scene.

The teen was later identified, with permission from his family, as Hermitage High School 10th-grader Nathaniel Clark.
