Lake COunty, FL : One person killed in single-vehicle crash in Lake County on June 8, 2014

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Lake County.

According to troopers, the crash occurred at the intersection of CR-468 and Pruitt Street.

They say the driver of 2003 Chevrolet SUV was traveling northbound on CR-468 when, for an unknown reason, the driver traveled into the southbound lanes and left the roadway.

Troopers say the driver's side of the SUV struck a tree.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
