Lawrenceville, GA : A four-vehicle crash in Barrow County on May, Wednesday 3rd 2017

A four-vehicle crash in Barrow County Wednesday afternoon left one driver dead.

Ga. State Trooper Cpl. D.O. Saddler said Loganville resident Martin Andrade-Cerda, 55, was driving a white box truck east in the right lane of Ga. 316 at about 1:30 p.m. He was reportedly following a blue trailer.

When the trailer slowed for a red light at an intersection with Ga. 81, Andrade-Cerde’s truck hit it from behind. That collision sent the trailer crashing into a green GMC Sierra, which in turn crashed into a grey Ford F-150.

“All vehicles came to an uncontrolled rest on the roadway,” Saddler said.

Andrade-Cerda was pronounced dead on the scene. No other injuries were reported.
