York, SC : One person died in a crash in York County on Saturday, JULY 23, 2016

One person died in a crash Saturday in York County.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the wreck happened on Beersheba Road about 3 miles outside of York.

The Nissan sedan was traveling north on Beersheba Road, when the car ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

The victim was pronounced dead on scene and troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.

The name of the victim has not been released.
