A 10-year-old boy has been left in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision near Owasso Saturday night.

The Tulsa World reports that a woman driving a Toyota SUV failed to yield a stop sign, and the car crashed into another vehicle with five occupants, including two children.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, the collision happened about a mile west of Owasso just before 9 p.m.

An Owasso EMS ambulance drove all five to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The boy was admitted in critical condition with head and internal injuries, according to the report.

Highway patrol arrested the uninjured SUV driver on a complaint of driving under the influence with injury accident. Jail records indicate she was booked at the Tulsa jail on $3,500 bond.
