Knoxville, TN : Car crashes under tanker truck on Interstate 40 Wednesday, October 22, 2014

A woman had to be rescued after her car went under a tractor trailer on Interstate 40 around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the James White Parkway exit. Police say 66-year-old Charlotte Brown, of Knoxville, was driving east when she tried to merge right into another lane. Officers say Brown's car went underneath the big rig and turned sideways. The driver of the semi, 50-year-old Jeffrey Henry, of Maryville, was able to quickly stop. No one was hurt. Investigators say no charges have been filed at this time.
