Arkadelphia, AR : Clark County woman killed in accident on Sunday, 4th September 2016

A Sunday afternoon single-vehicle accident claimed the life of an Amity woman.

According to the preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Andrea Cantrell, 35, was killed when the driver of a 1994 Jeep Wrangler lost control of the vehicle on Owens Trail near Alpine.

Cantrell was ejected from the vehicle when the vehicle left the road and overturned at approximately 4:30 p.m. She was pronounced dead by Clark County Coroner Tim Wright at 5:50 p.m. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

According to the report, the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
