Dodge County, MN : Rochester woman killed in Highway 14 crash on Saturday, January 28, 2017

A Rochester woman was killed Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 14 just east of Dodge Center.

Stephanie Dawn Sholtz, 42, was traveling west on the highway shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday when the crash occurred, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Road conditions were reported as snowy and icy, the patrol reports. Sholtz lost control of the vehicle — a 2011 Ford Ranger — and the vehicle rolled over.

Sholtz was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the patrol reports.

The patrol was assisted by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the Dodge Center Police, the Dodge Center Ambulance and the Kasson Fire Department.
