Newton, KS : Woman reportedly dead in vehicle-pedestrian accident near Newton on Tuesday afternoon, June 3, 2014

A woman reportedly is dead after an accident near Newton that involved a motorist and a pedestrian on Tuesday afternoon.

A Harvey County dispatcher confirmed the accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday on Northwest 12th, between Meridian and West.

More information was not immediately available as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
