Miami-Dade, FL : Pedestrian killed in struck by vehicle Northwest Miami-Dade on Thursday December 17 2015

Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed while crossing the street in northwest Miami-Dade Thursday morning.
The incident happened in the area of Northwest 12th Avenue and 103rd Street. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was taken to a nearby hospital for an unknown reason.
Family members identified the victim as 71-year-old Enrique Perez and said he was crossing the street to catch a bus when he was struck.
No other information was immediately known.
