HAMDEN, CT : New Haven man dies in Hamden motorcycle accident on Sunday, September 3, 2017

A 38-year-old motorcyclist from New Haven died Monday afternoon from injuries sustained in an accident at the intersection of Mix Avenue and East Gate Lane, according to a police department press release.
Police responded to the motor vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. and tried to save the male victim by rendering medical care, but the operator was pronounced dead by paramedics.
A preliminary investigation reveals that a 70 year-old Hamden woman was traveling northbound on Mix Avenue, and the vehicle made a left turn into the path of the motorcycle, police said.
