Somerset, NJ : 20-year-old woman dies in two-car crash on Route 138 after the crash on Saturday, 11th August 2018

A crash between a police officer in his cruiser and a 20-year-old driver who was extricated from her vehicle in Somerset and later died at a hospital is under investigation by state police.

The Bristol District Attorney’s Office said Hailey Allard’s car was facing south in the northbound lane when she was found on Route 138 after the crash.

Police said they were at the scene about 12:35 a.m. yesterday when they spotted Allard’s green Honda Civic.

The victim was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn said.
