Three people, including two juveniles, were hospitalized in a three-vehicle crash Friday, according to a press release from the Tipton County Sheriff’s Department sent Tuesday.
Deputies responded to the area of U.S. 31 just south of Division Road at around 7:08 p.m. On the scene, they discovered Rebecca Hutton, 32, Sims, Indiana, had been driving a Chrysler 200, and attempted to use a cross-over lane through the median.
In the process, she was struck by a Buick Rendezvous driven by Jeremy Lawless, 31, Westfield, who had an 11-year-old and 17-year-old female in the car with him. The collision sent him into the travel lane, and he was struck by a semi tractor-trailer driven by Donald Dixon, 56, Mt. Olive, Illinois.
