Mashpee, MA : 47-year-old woman died after car crash in Cape Cod Tuesday February 16 2016

Police have identified a 47-year-old woman who died in a car crash on Cape Cod.
Fire officials responded to a Mashpee intersection just after midnight Monday where they found a vehicle on its side against a utility pole.
Police say the driver, Cristina Moretti, and the passenger, Jaime Childs, were trapped inside with life-threatening injuries.
Moretti was taken to Falmouth Hospital where she later died. Childs was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital. She was listed in fair condition on Tuesday.
The crash remains under investigation.
