Cutler, CA : Squaw Valley woman killed in hit-run crash near Cutler on Saturday night, May 21, 2016

Authorities are looking for the driver who hit and killed a 27-year-old Squaw Valley woman near Cutler on Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol said.

Around 9:30 p.m., the victim was walking south on Road 120 near Avenue 404. While crossing the street, she was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Personnel from the Dinuba Fire Department were on Road 120 when they found the woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect vehicle is described as possibly being a newer model pickup truck.
