Coburg , OR :Oregon State Police: Vehicle strikes, kills woman in wheelchair on Interstate 5 on Friday , June 19th 2015

The Oregon State Police say a passenger vehicle struck and killed a woman whose wheelchair was on Interstate 5 in Lane County.The police said Friday they don't yet
know how the wheelchair came to be in the northbound lane of the freeway just before midnight Thursday.Lt. Bill Fugate said in an email that investigators are still
trying to identify the woman.The accident happened near Coburg. Police said the driver of the vehicle has been cooperative. The driver was identified only as a Tigard
resident.
