SHELDON, NY : 3 dead, 6 injured in Wyoming County crash at an intersection on Route 20A in Sheldon on Sunday, 26th May 2019

A 20-year-old man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he caused a deadly crash in Wyoming County.

Police say an SUV carrying nine people from New Jersey was struck by a pickup truck at an intersection on Route 20A in Sheldon around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two women were thrown from the SUV and were pronounced dead on the scene. A four-year-old was taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital where she later died. Six others, including three children, were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.
