Bakersfield, CA : Man killed in Highway 119 crash on Sunday, April 9, 2017

A 41-year-old man died in a crash on Highway 119 on Sunday, according to a coroner's release.

Jacinto Bautista, of Taft, was driving west on the highway, west of Highway 43, when he veered into the eastbound lane and collided with another vehicle, the coroner's office and California Highway Patrol reports said.

Bautista was pronounced dead at the scene of the 3:18 p.m. crash. The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed.
