Police say a good Samaritan removed a 6-year-old girl from a burning car and a trooper broke a window to rescue her mother to save them from a highway crash off of Interstate 93 in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Police said 35-year-old Michelle Maslanka of Laconia was trapped inside the car as it was catching fire Tuesday. Police said the car was traveling north on I-93 when it veered to the right across the median at the Exit 7 on ramp, then went off to right, where it struck a rock ledge and rolled over.
Maslanka suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was admitted to a hospital for treatment. Her daughter was treated and released for minor injuries.
