Berlin ,VT : One person killed in Route 62 accident on Monday ,June 6th 2015

An accident in Berlin has left one person dead.

That's the word from the Berlin Police Department. Officials say the accident at mid-day on Route 62 below the Central Vermont Medical Center was nearly a head-on collision. One car driven by 28 year-old Rachel Lissor of Barre collided with a second car with two passengers. The driver of the second car was killed say police. His name has not been released until family members are notified. A passenger, 28 year old Noel Baker of Barre, was seriously injured in the crash.
