La Crosse, WI : State trooper involved in two-car collision on Saturday, 20th August, 2016

A Wisconsin State Trooper and another vehicle collided Saturday morning on Hwy. 93 in Trempealeau County, according to its sheriff’s department.

The department was called to the intersection of county Hwy. A and state Hwy. 93 in the town of Arcadia at 10:33 a.m. According to the preliminary investigation, it appears the state trooper was attempting to turn around to follow a suspected traffic violator when the collision occurred.

The state trooper and the driver and passenger in the other vehicle were transported to Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the press release.

No names have been released and the incident remains under investigation.
