Cole County, MO : 8-year-old bicyclist treated for injuries following crash on Friday, 16th August 2019

An 8-year-old bicyclist was treated for minor injuries following a vehicle crash Friday in Cole County.

A 2015 Chrysler 200, driven by Lasbery Ajinwo, 44, of Jefferson City, was traveling westbound on Randall Drive when bicyclist Journey Moses, 8, of Jefferson City entered Randall Drive from a private drive and ran into the vehicle.

Moses was transported by Cole County Emergency Medical Services to SSM St. Mary's Hospital for minor injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report. She was not wearing a safety device.

Ajinwo did not sustain injuries and was wearing a seat belt.
