Enid ,OK : Garriott crash sends two people to hospital on Friday,July 10th 2015
Two people were injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision at Grand and Garriott.
Enid Police Department, Enid Fire Department and Life EMS responded at 10 a.m. to the 100 block of West Garriott, according to an EPD collision report.
Jeff Cheipot, 35, and Moses Kamier, 29, both were taken from the scene by Life EMS to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center with non-incapacitating injuries, according to the report.
Cheipot was westbound on Garriott in a 2006 Ford Explorer and had a green light as he proceeded through the intersection, according to the report. Brianna L. Hassett, 19, was eastbound on Garriott and also had a green light and turned left onto Grand to travel north. Cheipot’s vehicle then struck Hassett’s vehicle. Cheipot’s two passengers were not injured.
Hassett was cited for failure to yield right of way.
Grand and the outer westbound lane of Garriott at Grand were closed for more than half an hour as responders attended to the scene.
