The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 44 near the eastern Missouri town of St. Clair. Details about the victim and the vehicle involved were not immediately released. Patrol Sgt. Al Nothum says eastbound lanes were closed and were not expected to reopen until late-morning Tuesday.
