A woman from the St. Louis area is now recovering from a late night car crash in Pike County, Illinois.
Eighty-year-old Catherine Haynes was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy following a fiery crash that happened just after 11:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The Illinois State Police says Haynes was driving east on Interstate 72 when she lost control of the car.
The car left the road, crossed both westbound lanes, and crashed into a ditch, where it caught fire.
A police report says she only had minor injuries.
