Rutland, VT : Man is behind bars after leading police on an early Sunday morning chase ends in crash on August 31st 2014

A Rutland-area man is behind bars after leading police on an early morning chase. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Police say Jason Davis failed to stop for an officer on Woodstock Avenue -- instead running several stop signs. He eventually crashed his car into a home near the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Stratton Road. Davis was taken into custody. A female passenger and a dog in the car were injured in the crash.
