Charlotte, NC : One person injured in I-85 tractor trailer crash on Wednesday, February 3, 2016

One person was injured when a tractor trail overturned on I-85 Wednesday, according to Medic. Two of five lanes were closed near Mile Marker 29 while crews worked the scene.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. and caused the ramp lane and right lanes to close near the Sam Wilson Road exit. The lanes were expected to be cleared by the time rush hour began Wednesday afternoon.

Medic said one person was taken to Gaston Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. That person's name has not been released.

Motorists were encouraged to use exit 30 to I-485 outer or exit 9 to Wilkinson Boulevard to get to Sam Wilson Road during the congestion.
