Orange County, FL : Car crashes into Avalon Park home on May 17th 2014

An Avalon Park homeowner has a lot of damage to repair after a car crashed right through his house early Saturday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.
Carlos Ortiz Vegas said a wrong-way driver crashed into his home on Lacerta Drive just after 2 a.m.
He said the crash sounded liked a bomb going off.
“As I was coming down to check the house to make sure everything was secure I heard a big bang. It sounded like a bomb went off,” he said.
The woman driving the car was sent to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
FHP is still investigating the crash.
