FAIRFIELD, CT : Fatal Fairfield-area crash on Wednesday, 21st November 2018

The woman killed in a late afternoon crash on Lyon Road was identified Wednesday as a 19-year-old resident of Vacaville, authorities report.

Carly Hutchings was a passenger in a silver BMW 328i that was traveling west on Lyon Road, just west of Blue Mountain Road, at about 4:30 p.m. when it drove into the eastbound lane for an unknown reason, according to a California Highway Patrol traffic report.
