Plano,TX : Texas woman killed in Route 1 crash on may, Tuesday 16th 2017

Police have identified the 61-year-old woman killed in the Route 1 crash last Tuesday as Venkataramana Tangerala of Plano, Texas.

She was killed in a 8:58 p.m. crash that forced the closure of Route 1 North for two hours, police said.

According to police, a 2016 Chrysler sedan driven by Naga Remani, 37, of Plano, Texas, was traveling south on Route 1 approaching New Road. Police said the driver attempted to make a prohibited left turn onto New Road by cutting through the divider.
