Springfield, MA : Two people injured when car crashes into retaining wall in Springfield's South End Monday morning, April 11, 2016

Two people suffered minor injuries when the car they were in drove head-on into a retaining wall at the corner of East Columbus Avenue and Broad Street Monday morning.

Springfield Police said both occupants were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver was issued a citation but no charges were filed, according to police.

The retaining wall was not significantly damaged.

Traffic did not appear to be delayed and the car was completely off the road.
