TOWN OF ELLINGTON, WI : Appleton man suffers life-threatening injuries in single-vehicle crash on Saturday, 16th November 2024

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, sending one person to the hospital according to a news release.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. in the area of State Highway 76 and Immel Road in the Town of Ellington, following automatic detection in the vehicle.

Following an investigation by the Sheriff‘s Office, a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old Appleton man was traveling northbound on State Highway 76 when it failed to navigate a curve near Immel Road and struck a culvert causing the vehicle to roll multiple times.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside the vehicle and needed to be extricated. He was later transported to a local hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
